This is my "Go to" for Mexican food. Reasonable prices and a lot of food. And they have air conditioning now. Yay!

You know what's good? This place is good.
Honestly in terms of food truck food, this is probably the best I've had since I've been in Hawaii so far (my bias is that I love Mexican food though). Like you could put this stuff on a plate and give it to someone and they'd think you just picked it up from an actual permanent location.
Pretty much everything was done right. The shredded chicken tacos were flavorful, the refried beans had the right consistency, and the Mexican rice still had that familiar taste but maybe had a hint of sweetness to it due to the addition of some diced carrots, but I actually liked that.
The portions are quite big too, so I definitely felt like I got my money's worth ($10) for two tacos full of stuffing, rice, and beans.
This place has a la carte options, but those can be quite expensive. However overall, this place is still definitely a good choice for lunch combo. -

Excellent carnitas, cooked and seasoned perfectly every time. Flavorful, smooth guacamole freshly made and very nice black beans and rice on the side. Great options, fair prices. High quality Mexican food. Would highly recommend! We stop by every Saturday when they're at Goodwill Kailua.
